Job Description:

The Security and Guest Services Coordinator will work independently on department projects and assignments, as well as assist, coordinate and work with the LACC Security & Guest Services management in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives. The Coordinator will be dedicated to providing an exceptional level of service and technical support to all our clients, with a particular focus on the security requirements of LACC.

• Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, sitting or walking
• Travel Percentage (%): 10%

Essential Functions:

• Performs daily duties for LACC Security & Guest Services Administration. (Maintains calendar, schedule appointments and meetings, answers phones, responds to inquiries.)
• Coordinates and develops the shift deployment of all Security & Guest Services personnel. Also assists with developing a daily, weekly and monthly security deployment plan.
• Coordinates and assists in the development of security and guest service guidelines and procedures for employees, guests and clients.
• Prepares and edit reports, meeting agenda and minutes and PowerPoint presentations for LACC Security & Guest Services management.
• Assists in the development of security & guest service programs and training materials for all LACC employees. Provides employee training and awareness programs. Training accountability and tracking.
• Other duties as required by the VP of Security and Guest Services.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or equivalency. (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• 1-3 years as a Security employee preferred. (Previous Coordinator experience highly preferred.)
• Must possess working knowledge of principles and practices of Security guidelines and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with AEG/LACC team members, clients and guests.
• Must have general knowledge of payroll and scheduling procedures.
• Must have previous experience with payroll and scheduling software (e.g. ABI Mastermind, ADP, Kronos, etc.)
• Have a basic understanding of workers’ compensation rules and general liability insurance principles.
• Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to work extended hours/weekends to provide support to the Department, events and projects.
• Maintain a sense of urgency with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work productively under pressure from internal and external clients.
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• A verifiable track record of integrity, diligence and teamwork.
• Must be able to think creatively and possess good interpersonal relationship skills.
• Willingly perform other duties as assigned.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe (Highly preferred)
