Premion, a leading Over-the-Top advertising and media business, seeks an experienced Sales Planner to help Sales Planning strategy team in TEGNAs local media markets. This person will report to the Sales Planning Manager and be responsible for the execution of media plans and proposals as well as helping execute on inventory and pricing strategies. Work closely with the Sales Planning Manager to create and implement effective pre-sales RFP process and tools that drive revenue growth
Act as the Premion Salesforce CRM Administrator
Interact daily with TEGNA local and regional sales team to develop and deliver advertising revenue proposals to regional and local clients.
Oversee RFP process on behalf of Premion working closely with and coordinating the resources of the field sales, technology, operations and content teams
Respond to requests for information and answer any questions as it relates to pre-sales process including pricing, volume, forecasts and capabilities
Work closely with marketing team to provide market feedback on the development of materials needed for stations to manage best in class sales processes
Communicate available materials, resources, tools and training to the field
Work closely with Premion leadership and finance team for approval of deals
Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the participating local marketing and sales teams across the country
Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field
3+ years pre-sales, sales assistant, media planning, and or account management experience
Understanding of complex request for proposal (RFP) processes and requirements
Broadcast/digital advertising, marketing, sales or agency experience preferred
Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively solve problems
Exceptional organizational, project management, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Mac and PC proficient especially for presentation and proposal development
Exceptional reputation and professional ethos
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salesforce experience is preferred
