The NBCUniversal television stations located in Miramar, Florida is currently looking for an Information Technology Analyst. The Information Technology Analyst is responsible for overseeing the day to day mission critical IT & Broadcast systems within the television station.
This position is responsible for the short and long-term technology strategy and health of the station. This includes designing and maintaining the infrastructure, addressing security needs, providing desktop support, and other technology related duties. This position interacts directly with the end users, including newsroom operations, sales and others all with varying priorities and needs. You will also assist Engineering with implementation and basic support such as hardware installations.
This position is primarily located at our Miramar, Florida station but may be called upon to support our other stations in Florida.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or
3+ years in IT or IT related experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in supporting end-users.
Minimum 3 years experience troubleshooting and analyzing IP networks.
Minimum 3 years experience in networking with configuration, networking protocols, devices and routing, authentication TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP settings.
In-depth experience (2+ years) with MS Windows and MS Server OS Active Directory, Dell desktop equipment, Multi-Media Platforms, Internet/Intranets, Mac hardware/OS.
Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory architecture, permissions and structure.
Must be willing to work in Miramar, FL.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must be 18 years or greater.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to evenings, weekends and holiday at times with short notice.

Must be covered by Solutions, NBCUs Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Television broadcast industry experience a plus.
MCSE certification, CCNA and Project Management (PMP).
Understanding of complex system; Encoding, Media Transport, Web interactivity,
Automation, NLE, & fiber distribution.
Experience with Dalet, Ross Overdrive, Ross Xpression, LeaderPlus, Adobe Products, Final
Cut Pro, Omneon, Cisco, Isilon, Harmonics, Miranda (IControl) and Evertz (Namedropper).
Proven understanding of asset management and digital distribution concepts, servers and
Solid knowledge of file-based delivery, compression, transcoding and streaming technologies.
Knowledge of Apple products.
Knowledge of NBCUniversal Change Control processes and procedures desired.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever-changing News requirements.
Ability to work under pressure in a tight deadline, fast paced environment.
Easily adept at handling and completing priorities with a heightened sense of responsiveness.
Customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Certified in Dell and Apple repair.
Deployment automation software.
