FOX Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 28 stations in 17 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Charlotte.
Responsibilities: Direct all aspects of the national sales efforts for the Fox O&O television group, including 28 Fox & MyNet stations in 17 Markets; Responsible for hundreds of millions in annual sales; Oversee employees in 12 offices nationwide; Execute strategic plans and protocol for national sales group performance, including training, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, negotiation, business development and measures of accountability; Responsible for the yearly performance market share for national sales. Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Minimum 7-10 years broadcast sales experience; Must be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors and leading strategies; Candidate must possess strong leadership qualities with both clients and employees, organizational abilities, effective time management skills, polished presentation, speaking and negotiation skills; Good communication skills and the ability to develop relationships; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be detail and deadline oriented.
