Job Description:

What do we require from you?

The Category Manager Home EMEA is responsible for supporting a group of designated Home licensee partners, working with the Director on budgets and implementing business strategies to drive the long-term growth and market share of the Home business across EMEA and on a global basis. The position will require travel to effectively manage & provide an excellent service to all partners.
• Organising regular business review meetings with assigned partners on an agreed schedule to monitor and drive business.
• Preparation of forecasts and delivery of revenues to these agreed quarterly forecasts.
• Work with licensee partners to develop plans or corrective measures to ensure the business achieves, or exceeds, the agreed forecasts.
• Identify areas for growth - franchises and new product development. Create clear range plans supported with all relevant commercial information.
• Formulate recommendations and implementation of strategy to develop existing accounts.
• Identify and exploit current and potential commercial gaps in the WB licensee and product portfolio in-line with franchise and category objectives including identification of opportunities with the existing Home partner portfolio and potential new leading category partners.
• Monitor and leverage market trends and product innovations to develop the category.
• Effectively partner with other Categories to optimize opportunities and leverage cross category executions at retail.
• Implement comprehensive Marketing strategies with licensees and WBCP Regional Franchise team (including TV Commercials, advertising, PR and POS materials).

What do we require from you?

• Solid previous sales-related experience and/ or buying experience.
• In depth working knowledge of the Fashion & Home industries with an understanding of the Europe and other key regional markets.
• Displays creativity and innovation in work and encourages it in others.
• Demonstrates awareness of cultural and national differences when engaging with global teams.
• Very good numeracy skills and good overall understanding of commercial parameters prioritised internally and externally by business partners.
• Shows an ability to successfully close / complete negotiations.
• Independently identifies gaps and revenue generating or cost saving opportunities.
• Displays understanding of business frameworks and process dependencies impacting their role (e.g. forecasting, foresight on expiring deals, retail planning calendars etc.).

Bonus points for?

• Knowledge of the Licensing Industry highly desirable.
• Experience of working in an International environment preferred.
