Burbank Television Enterprises seeks a Product Manager for the WWTVM Digital Media Marketing department. In this role, you will use digital products to advance WB sales teams' priorities and provide marketing support for WB clients around the world. You will continually analyze the needs of the global television marketing, production and distribution business, translate them into business and technical requirements, then see them through design, development, testing and release. You will serve as the primary liaison between domestic and international product stakeholders, internal design and development resources, external vendors, and content management teams to support a wide variety of websites, apps and content-management systems. You will be expected to organize documentation and testing, effectively apply frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and contribute to the evolution of both our product platform and product management practice. You will be expected to use analytics and subjective feedback to identify key performance indicators, prioritize work, and measure success.
The current portfolio of business to business and consumer sites and applications managed by the WWTVM Digital Media group include; WBTVD.com, WBTVD screening apps for mobile, tablet, TV and desktop, WBFYC sites and apps, Ratings Pop, The Bachelor Casting site, press sites and more.
Analyze projects to define goals, requirements, deliverables, timeline, budget, and strategic fit for the Warner Bros. Television Group's digital products.
Lead testing and quality assurance for all major releases.
Lead product management meetings from planning to retrospective, clearly communicating agenda and next steps to all participants.
Manage product documentation in JIRA and Confluence.
Author and edit test-driven user stories and bug reports.
Launch small websites with minimum support and supervision.
Support leadership team in development of product platform.
What do we require from you?
Bachelors Degree required, PMP or related Certificate is a plus.
Minimum 5 years product management or project management experience in digital media.
Experience working in a Studio environment preferred.
Expert Mac/PC computing skills.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong knowledge of using Agile development methodologies.
Strong knowledge of television production, distribution, and marketing businesses.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence, or similar product management tools.
Familiarity with fundamentals of web architecture, coding languages, APIs, and databases.
Experience with content management systems including Wordpress.
Proven ability to manage several high-profile projects simultaneously.
