Central Coast ABC-TV, sister station to KSBW-TV, owned by Hearst Television, serving the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz area, is seeking a Regional Account Executive who will work with advertising agencies outside of our market as well as consult with local business owners/managers. The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy and enthusiasm plus strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creating television and digital media marketing proposals for advertising agencies located outside of the Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz.
Negotiating win-win sales solutions.
Developing revenue across multiple platforms - television and digital.
Building new client relationships.
Must have the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
Minimum of two years media sales experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills via phone, e-mail, and in-person.
Possess strong analytical and presentation skills.
Results-driven, self-motivated and accountability in a goal-structured environment.
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
Computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of Wide Orbit, Marshall Marketing, Kantar and Matrix is a plus.
Digital media knowledge is a plus (such as IAB standards, audience targeting, OTT advertising, video streaming, 1st/3rd party data, etc.)
Knowledge of and/or aptitude for traditional and digital media calculations (i.e. percentages, shares, CPPs, CPMs, inventory management, etc.)
High School diploma/GED required.
College degree preferred.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable automobile as use of personal vehicle for sales calls is necessary.
Motor Vehicle Record check required.
