As Privacy Manager, you will have the opportunity to as a part of a dynamic, friendly and experienced global team on privacy issues impacting Live Nation Entertainment’s businesses and offerings across the globe. We are about putting on the best experiences possible. Part of curating our services and coming up with exciting offerings is in designing products that respect fan security and privacy. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with key members of the business, engineering and legal teams on a variety of cutting edge initiatives.

Reporting into the Group Data Protection Officer, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Working with the business, including product and technology teams, to design innovative privacy solutions as part of pragmatic advice and conducting Privacy Impact Assessments;
• Supporting our colleagues in the legal department on Live Nation Entertainment activities and regulatory matters;
• Drafting and leading training and awareness sessions with the business to promote a culture of privacy and help them understand how legal requirements affect their area;
• Maintaining and drafting new guidance and designs to support the business on a variety of topics;
• Collaborate with relevant business stakeholders on continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve the performance and maturity of the LNE privacy program;
• Fostering partnerships with the business as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert;
• Maintaining knowledge of applicable privacy laws, regulations, standards, and advancements in technologies.

About you
Essential skills


• Degree educated in a discipline with transferable skills (such as a legal or technical degree);
• Minimum of three years' experience in dedicated privacy or data governance;
• Strong knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK Data Protection Act 2018;
• Good awareness of data protection in other jurisdictions;
• Able to liaise effectively with both lawyers and business partners;
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to express complex and technical issues as understandable language to our stakeholders;
• Ability to identify and analyse data protection risks and controls and deliver pragmatic solutions;
• Experience of conducting privacy impact assessments and leveraging privacy-by-design;
• Experience of drafting and monitoring adherence to policies, processes and general advice;
• Working knowledge of a broad range of IT issues, technologies, standards (especially ISO 27001), control frameworks and good practice;
• Adaptable, diligent and works with initiative;
• A can-do attitude with a proven track record of bringing business stakeholders onside;
• A genuine passion for all things data;
• Effective time management, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Desirable skills

• At least one privacy qualification (such as BCS, CIPP, ISEB or similar);
• Further qualifications in supporting fields (such as compliance, audit, information security) a plus;
• Additional foreign languages a plus.
