WSB TV is looking for a full-time Newscast Director.Responsibilities / Qualifications:
This person will be responsible for directing fast paced newscasts driven by breaking news, as well as public affairs shows, webcasts, OTT shows, and sports specials. Schedules may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
We are seeking an "A" player to join our veteran staff. If you can execute a clean tight newscast in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a dynamic, winning News operation, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications: Candidates should be proficient with Grass Valley Ignite, Ross Overdrive, or Sony ELC. Must be familiar with Avid Systems, INEWS, and News Cutter, Vinten Robotics, audio mixing, and Chyron, as well as be able to adapt to new technologies. A minimum of five years Directing experience in a medium or major market is required.
