Job Description:

Job Summary:

Drive Membership retention for the American Golf private club portfolio by leading and coaching existing Membership Relations staff. This is a mid-management-level position providing support to a growing team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Creates a vision for providing a unique Member experience through events, communication, and connection strategies
• Recruits, develops, coaches, and organizes the Membership Relations team
• Works closely with the Regional Membership Sales Managers to create a cohesive plan to foster Membership sales and retention
• Oversees the sales of upgraded Membership category, Premier
• Manages the execution of club-specific social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram
• Maintains company-wide social media platforms, including Facebook and Pinterest
• Establishes a game plan for Membership Relations teams, and follows up with coaching calls and/or club visits to provide feedback and to assist execution of game plans.
• Performs a key role in presentation of monthly Membership calls with Private Club Membership teams
• Participates in management of CRM system (ReServe)
• Works in conjunction with Marketing department to develop collateral and processes for sales and retention

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of current trends in programming that may be applied in private club locations
• Other duties may be assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Requirements:

• 4-5 years of related experience in sales/marketing, preferably in golf/hospitality/service industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4-year college degree preferred
• Strong leadership and people skills, plus the ability to build and foster a team environment
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms and experience working with websites
• Solid time management, organization and prioritization skills; ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction required
• Knowledge of golf desirable
• Valid driver’s license required
