Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Local and Studios, the Director of Integrated Marketing is responsible for leading Integrated Marketing initiatives for Interactive One Local, which operates the websites and other digital platforms for Radio Ones radio division. This role will oversee the development and execution of all digital pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities across 15 local Radio One markets and for Radio Ones national sales team. The candidate will be capable of adapting to the changing trends and needs of advertisers in digital media technologies, emerging media platforms and radio for promotions and advertising. The Director of Integrated Marketing must be a strong leader with a diverse marketing and business development background and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic:
Develop and lead a clear, well understood vision, go-to-market strategy and digital sales positioning for local and regional digital sales
Develop marketing materials communicating the vision including category decks and case studies to help drive incremental sales revenue
Continually improve and refine digital sales products and offerings in the local digital online, mobile, and social space
Develop the framework and process to manage the execution and implementation of sales campaigns
Implement on-the-ground digital training programs with integrated sellers
Operational Day-to-day:
Respond to RFPs
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
Ideation
Ensure the execution of the digital sales campaigns and develop recap reports and case studies
Manage and develop a robust marketing portal to enable the sales process
Develop standard reports and metrics that are valuable to the marketing and sales
teams
Work closely with research tools to identify key client objectives and compile industry insight for sales presentations
Integrate materials from research and digital media ad sales/business development departments into concepts and presentations
Work closely with all Radio One owned & operated radio stations sales, marketing, programming and promotions staffs, and Radio Ones national sales team, on relevant sales promotion opportunities
Conceptualize and develop advertiser-specific marketing platforms, such as in-book programs/advertorials, online/digital extensions and customized events
Brainstorm/develop new programs and partnerships for the brand
Accompany sales team on calls to present programs
Interface regularly with management and industry partners
Qualifications (The ideal candidate will have):
Minimum 2-3 years of online advertising sales marketing experience along with other sales marketing experience, preferably involving the development of integrated sales solutions for one or more traditional media companies
BS / BA degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Management experience required
Dedicated and driven work ethic
Excellent writing skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, collegial environment where navigating matrixed working relationships is essential
Comfortable making presentations to all-size groups
Outstanding computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of Interactive One and Interactive One Local properties, platforms and advertising capabilities
Ability to earn and retain the respect of Radio One corporate-level executives, and market-level General Managers, Directors of Sales and other sales managers, sellers and others involved in the sales process, Program Directors and Promotions Directors
