The North American Professional Services team leads all of Nielsen's relationships with consumer-focused manufacturers and retailers. The team includes over 1,600 professionals in the United States and Canada and manages relationships for several hundred clients headquartered in North America including Walmart, Kraft, Procter & Gamble and Coca Cola to name a few. The Nielsen organization is in a truly unique position to provide integrated solutions for our clients using unparalleled research and media assets. With these tools, we consult with clients to offer strategic insights and recommendations on our clients' highest priority business issues.
As Vice President, Walmart U.S., you will lead Nielsen?s relationship with Walmart U.S. Your role?s primary focus is to serve as your clients? business partner, working collaboratively with your Nielsen Company colleagues to create integrated solutions to solve your clients? most pressing business issues. As leader of the Nielsen Walmart U.S. team, your job is to ensure day-to-day servicing requirements are exceeding the client's expectations while continuing to focus on building strong relationships and executing against Walmart?s strategic and tactical plans.

The Vice President will be responsible for the following:
Create a partnership with Walmart clients positioning Nielsen as a valued and trusted advisor
Support client needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellent client service
Represent the client?s ?voice? to Nielsen functional areas
Identify opportunities to leverage the myriad Nielsen products and services to create integrated solutions that solve your clients? business issues
Mentor team members providing guidance on structuring and conducting market research studies, developing client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance the value we provide to the client Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in category management, agency services, syndicated data or marketing
A background in retailing, manufacturer sales, category management, or client-side marketing with a global multi-national firm is preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University, MBA Preferred
High level of proficiency in working directly with senior clients
Ability to understand client needs and translate these to solutions
Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills; strong ability to think conceptually and then link that back to data, insights, and business decisions
Excellent ability to influence and collaborate with others both within the team and across other business lines within Nielsen and the client
Demonstrated track record of success in leading broad and diverse teams to extraordinary accomplishments
Executive Presence. Must be able to inspire confidence and trust at highest levels of an organization. Given the size of the organization and the extensive nature of these relationships, the role will often be interfacing with senior leaders across the client organization
Comfort with and ability to manage multiple relationships at one time
