Job Description:

ReachLocal / LocalIQ is looking for a Sales Engineer / Web Project Manager to develop and execute on the building of semi-custom websites for our company’s local business clients. This role will formulate end-to-end strategies and processes to deliver a superior product offering tailored to the client’s individual needs and requirements. Under your direction, you will plan, lead, and execute projects with multiple team members to completion.
This role interfaces with internal and external customers, vendors, support teams, and others to deliver solutions that cater to our website clients. You will need to demonstrate expert proficiency with website development and fulfillment, and local technologies through use of best practices. This role is vital to website client relations by performing initial setup calls, project scope estimation, product recommendations, and vendor management.

About Your Responsibilities

• Answer strategic website related questions for the sales field and clients throughout the sales process.
• Manage incoming semi-custom website build requests and scope fulfillment requirements for new clients.
• Interface with both clients, and internal stakeholders to gather and document detailed product (desktop & mobile) requirements.
• Manage any semi-custom implementation and site integration work directly with engineering teams through to successful release.
• Communicate with website fulfillment team to create project workflow, coordinate tasks, and understand client deadlines.
• Help to manage client expectations, communication, and performance metrics.
• Train clients, staff and outside vendors on product enhancements.
• Maintain weekly project updates regarding deliverable status and project progress on semi-custom sites.
• Serve as the main point of contact to vendor partners for outsourced deliverables.
• Assist with on-boarding sessions between the website Fulfillment team and client.
• Incorporate constantly evolving technologies into the client solution delivery process, and actively seek to improve daily operations.
• Communicate the customer goals, and represent the customer interests to the Web Fulfillment team.

About You

• BA in Business, Management or related field
• 3-4 years product management experience, preferably with a digital or technology background.
• 3-4 years account and/or project management experience, with heavy client interfacing.
• Strong background in website development technologies, digital communications, and project management.
• Expert in WordPress as a platform, and associated plugins strongly preferred, but not required.
• Ability to quickly master business processes, operations, and new web technology concepts.
• Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management.
• Advanced capabilities to effectively manage and coordinate digital development projects.
• Strong technical skills to establish, assess, modify/adjust, and routinely improve website development requests.
• Must be proficient in MS Office Applications (Powerpoint, Word, and Excel)
• Demonstrated expertise with digital marketing and processes a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
