The Resource Management Coordinator collaborates with one or more Department Managers in the management of the artists & technicians across various departments in the Animation Pipeline.
Print and deliver Staffing Profiles and Casting Docs to Department Managers
Schedule transition meetings with Artist and Department Managers
Keep up to date on what is happening on the floor: artist aspirations, goals, morale
Send official transition emails when applicable
Prep agendas for recurring department meetings
Make sure room is prepared: requests filed for tech needs, chairs, equipment
Run machine / content if necessary
Wrangle attendees, take notes and follow up on Action Items
Support Department, especially Department Chairs, on various global tasks
Support Task Forces
Manage department specific office supplies and time cards
Maintain various resource management related documents
Maintain and regularly audit department aliases
Manage Department morale budget
Work with artists to plan team building activities
Have awareness of Department Goals and help drive departments to meet them
Partner with Education department on training schedules, develop curriculums for new hires and continued education, implement artistic development goals.
Ensure new artists get mentors assigned
Work with technology on department standard configurations and equipment roll-out deliveries.
Attend weekly space planning meetings
Work with Department Manager to coordinate and communicate move requests to both Facilities and the Artists
Submit for ergo evaluations and special equipment as needed/requested for ergonomic reasons.
Audit space planning documents and communicate any changes to Department Manager and Facilities
2 years of experience as an Assistant, Production Assistant or Coordinator in animation, film, television or gaming industries.
Proactive and able to work independently
Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization
Extremely trustworthy and capable of handling confidential documents with discretion
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven record of working well on a team and enjoys a collaborative work environment
Proficiency in software like Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Gmail
