Starz is a leading global media and entertainment company that provides premium subscription video and programming. We are looking for a talented, passionate recruiting expert to join our team and play a
pivotal role in attracting and securing top talent to Starz. This person will be responsible for recruiting for a wide range of corporate and creative talent, with roles in all verticals, such as Finance, Marketing, Legal, Distribution, etc. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and enthusiastic approach to effectively manage the full recruitment lifecycle, resulting in high quality hires in a timely manner. This person will also act as a guide and coach to hiring managers and will apply strong negotiation and persuasion skills throughout the process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with relevant business areas to understand their strategic objectives and meet the hiring needs. Create structure and rigor around candidate management / experience.
Source and access highly skilled talent from top tier companies within a highly competitive recruiting landscape.
Define, develop, and execute on recruitment strategy but not limited to: direct sourcing, industry networking, internet/social media recruiting and relevant trade and industry organizations.
Review and edit job descriptions.
Contribute to Talent Acquisition's effort of redefining recruitment processes of employer branding, social media, revamping job descriptions, and the candidate experience.
Minimum of 5 years' full cycle recruiting experience, with a proven track record recruiting for both technical and corporate roles
Experience working in entertainment, media or advertising a strong plus
Bachelorís Degree required
Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategy including employer brand promotion
Experience developing creative strategy/sourcing techniques to uncover passive candidates and fill difficult positions, including proactive phone and internet research
Strong consulting, client management and persuasion skills
Excellent organizational skills - must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload
Works well in fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and at times, high ambiguity and uncertainty
Ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated, and to effectively communicate with employees and management at all levels is essential
