The Production Lead, APAC is responsible for the efficient running of production and production operations in the region. They will take responsibility for all production vendor relationships and production processes in the region. Working in a senior capacity and closely with the Creative Lead (APAC), Lead Strategist (APAC), Director of Operations and the Executive Producer, the Head of Production and Operations APAC will collaborate on creative development with team producers, provide creative solutions for multiplatform production requirements of commissioned branded content and implement global/regional efficiency solutions.
What will you be doing?
Commission, brief and manage appropriate production resource solutions ensuring successful execution of CNNIC Branded Content Campaigns from a quality, timescale, and budget perspective 20%
Collaborate with internal teams to generate best-in-class branded content solutions, ensure that content is on-brand for client, creative high standards of CNN are achieved for each production and safeguard the companys guidelines and industry regulations with regard to safety and the law. 25%
Understand, pro-actively suggest enhancement of and implement global production methodologies, building the appropriate cost-effective production resource solutions to carry out those methodologies. 20%
Explore and promote new approaches to visual storytelling that maximise audience engagement through new formats and production methods. 15%
Understand, pro-actively suggest enhancement of and implement global operational methodologies ensuring adherence amongst the APAC Create teams. 15%
Mentor and Manage production staff ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and are performing and progressing against agreed plans. 5%
What do we require from you?
7-10 years experience within a creative/production department of a global media company or Creative/production agency
Experience in building and managing production teams made up of internal/external staff to deliver quality, cost and time efficient digital-led campaigns
Experience in development and implementation of production processes and methods for digital and linear distribution.
Possesses a wide network of skilled creative individuals and vendors across the APAC region particularly Japan, Singapore, India.
Experience in Creative Development of Visual Storytelling Campaigns
Experience in Managing Client and External Stakeholders
Fluent in English
Ability to Mentor and Progress team members
Ability to persistently keep up to date on traditional and emerging media platforms, significantly digital and social experiences and IAB advertising standards.
Experience in use of Project/Production Management Systems
