iHeartMedias Media Strategy & Planning team is seeking a Media Planner based in New York. The role will impact sales by working directly with National Account Managers, Account Executives and Sales Leaders across the U.S. to grow revenue by building and implementing media plans and tracking performance of campaigns that run across iHeartMedia's radio stations and Programmatic platform.
Strategizing with Sales colleagues to achieve negotiated client goals by creating customized network radio, programmatic and multi-market media proposals
Pulling and analyzing ratings and pricing data and building out media schedules
Inputting proposal details into submission recap charts and summarizing the key sales points of each proposal to iHM sales team members
Formatting and communicating the details of radio orders and revisions for Coordinators to input Communicating with radio station personnel about order clearance, discrepancies and makegoods
Tracking and ensuring media deliveries, creating recap reports and executing campaign posts.
Keeping assigned account files organized and updated
1-2 years of work experience in the media industry is preferred
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast paced environment
Must be proficient in Excel and SQL and have strong PC/Microsoft Office skills
Must be proficient in math and comfortable analyzing data
Must be comfortable with and professional in communicating in group meetings as well as via phone and email with team members across the country
Must work well with others and be team oriented in nature
