Maximize Starz Entertainment (STE) subscribers and revenue through collaborative implementation of partnership marketing campaigns, execution of marketing strategy and point-of-sale initiatives. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills, as well as the ability to analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make innovative recommendations leading to increased revenue and subscribers. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to take full ownership for the execution of assigned projects, working both independently and with a team. A sense of ownership, collaboration and intensity are critical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with affiliate sales and marketing to develop, execute, and analyze marketing plans to ensure revenue and subscriber growth and expansion of company products and/or services with affiliated MVPDs, OTT and Mobile Distributors.
Account service oriented – high level of responsiveness is expected. Strong relationship building and maintaining skill set required.
Maintain constant awareness of the direction and manage status of all projects, including anticipating needs and conflicts that unexpectedly evolve.
Effectively work with Affiliates, agencies, all levels of the Affiliate Sales team and internal departments.
Exhibit strong communication skills by successfully providing counsel to Affiliate/ STE Sales team on proper tactical mix/creative direction, executing that direction with creative teams, and proactively relating project status to stake holders.
Assist in managing contractual marketing funds and provides guidance to affiliate sales as to utilization of marketing funds on assigned accounts. Collaborates on monthly budget review, reconciliation, and planning in tandem with accounting and finance.
Analyze marketing projects and make recommendations for improvements and better results.
Initiates and reviews sweepstakes rules, contest rules, creative, etc. to ensure marketing initiatives are consistent with brand positioning, marketing strategies, messaging objectives, and adhere to legal compliance.
High attention to detail and can effectively review Affiliate created materials and clearly communicate feedback.
Understand Industry/competitive environment and be knowledgeable of Affiliate goals and product packaging.
Oversees event planning and execution including vendor negotiation/selection, pre-production, event execution and post-event lessons learned.
Proficiency to be strategic, manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred.
Five years related experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in cable, satellite, telecommunications or entertainment industry a plus.
Minimum two years’ experience with digital and social media marketing
Client services, project management, agency experience.
Proven communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. Also experienced in Adobe Acrobat. Comfortable learning proprietary software solutions.
