Job Description:

The Fan Acquisition Director will have a unique opportunity to join a growing team focused on 20th Century Fox's key franchises -- including Alien, Predator, Planet of the Apes, Kingsman and animated titles. This position will manage fan engagement on new and existing fan platforms and be a key player in building awareness and recruitment to these platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Key contributor in defining and maintaining the community management strategy, including engagement methods, moderation policies, content building and outreach initiatives especially focused on growing fan base and increasing engagement
• Create and manage content to engage communities for each of our franchises
-Manage content calender for fan engagement accros franchises
-Develop community guidelines
-Curate, amplify and repost positive media, partner content, and UGC
-Manage interactions with users in multiple communities spanning our entire IP list
-Ensure a consistent tone, persona and visual look and feel is maintained across all interaction channels
-Escalate any fan concerns to relevant divisions
• Meet deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, adept at handling change, and maintains composure under pressure. Ensure all fan engagements deliver on budget, on strategy and on time
• Set goals for, track and report on community-related metrics ensuring upwards visibility as well as helping inform on metrics’ significance. Leverage data to optimize fan engagement and identify new opportunities for engagement
• Work closely with Brand Strategy to support direction of fan engagement
• Collaborate across the Studio with partners in Theatrical Marketing, Home Entertainment, Consumer Products, Mobile, VR, Gaming, Productions, TV, IT, etc.
• Oversee external vendors/agencies, where applicable, and internal community manager, on content creation and community management
• Build brand awareness through community by identifying market trends
• Keep finger on the pulse of technology and innovation. Constructively leverage the latest technologies to meet strategic goals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of established online community management experience in the entertainment industr
• Previous experience building and moderating online communities and customer service
• Strong knowledge and experiences with social media platforms, tools, best-practices and working with influencers and superfans
• Strong understanding of fanboys/girls. Having a strong personal affinity for the genre world is even better. Must love movies and movie based franchises
• Knowledge of online fan destinations, community platforms, systems and software
• Comfortable using data to gleen insights and inform strategy
• Innovative and creative with a strong eye for design and an excellent sense of good copy
• Strong ability to multi-task and adjust for changing priorities
• Strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills who also knows how to roll his/her sleeves up
• Go getter with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strategic minded
• Proficiency in content creation tools, such of photo and video editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere,...) desired
