Executive Assistant FOX Sports Programming (FOX Sports 1- Los Angeles, CA)

Position Summary

FOX Sports Programming is seeking an Executive Assistant to be responsible for all administrative duties for three executives, FOX Sports 1 and FBC Sports programming department as a whole, including but not limited to travel and expenses, meeting coordination, invoicing for administrative costs (UPS, AT&T, Courier, etc), ordering supplies, SharePoint calendar updates, processing dub requests, assembling and distributing weekly rankings for football and basketball, and maintaining supplier contact lists.

This role also provides programming coordinator functions for the FS1 & FS2 Programming Department including generating custom scheduling reports needed on a regular basis by finance, sales, and marketing, creating and editing commercial formats, and assisting in the program fulfillment process. In addition, this role will assist with the creation of program line-ups and FeedPoint, posting to our research site and special projects for FBC Sports Programming Logistics.


• Performs administrative duties for 3 Executives; answers phones, manages complex schedules, coordinates travel, drafts and edits correspondence and official documentation, processes individual expenses.
• Performs office management duties for programming and operations department for FS1, FS2, and FBC Sports handling all department staff requests for supplies, administering department invoices, scheduling conference rooms, and generally handling all logistical needs as it relates to office operations and/or IT.
• Creates and distributes numerous types program scheduling and analysis reports for sales, finance, operations, marketing, TV listings, and any and all parties who need it. Enters programming changes into VPS system. Assists in the maintaining and creation of commercial formats.


• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (solid understanding of grammar and syntax).
• Superior people skills, engendering productive relationships with management, colleagues and clients at all organizational levels.
• Solid mathematics and logical reasoning abilities
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and IE required.
• Overall knowledge of cable television and sports broadcasting is preferred.
• Good organizational skills, proven ability to multi-task and work effectively within time constraints in a dynamic, high-pressure environment is necessary.
