Pandora is looking for a Director of Partner Operations to own the negotiation, implementation and management of key strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include the successful roll out, communication, and commercialization of partner initiatives. This is a highly cross-functional role that will report into the Sr. Director of Platform and Partner Operations. It combines aspects of program management, partner management, and operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing programs that are technical in nature and past success in being a liaison with senior cross-functional players in Marketing, Business Development, Product, Engineering and Ad Technology. You should be able to build proactive communications programs and possess an ability to distill complicated issues into meaningful, actionable components. You should have an eye for efficiency, scale, and automation, and always question how we can make things better, faster, easier. You should be able to work autonomously but thrive on collaboration. You should enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Excellent relationship-building skills, communication capabilities, experience with crisis communications and program management skills are crucial. And, of course, you should love music.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic partnerships and key, high profile initiatives
• Set operations go-to-market strategy for various internal programs and initiatives
• Develop and coordinate realistic project estimates, plans and/or metrics
• Engage with and obtain buy-in on program strategy from senior leaders of cross functional teams
• Setup and manage working groups to ensure successful completion of the program
• Work and communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Legal to build consensus and meet projected deadlines
• Drive, manage and communicate status on programs from conception through launch, and provide post-launch analysis
• Build strategic communication framework for internal constituents; manage proactive and reactive communications to various internal departments
• Assist internal teams with developing and communicating best practices around partners and related initiatives

Qualifications:

• Experience negotiating, managing and executing partnership agreements
• Previous experience leading teams
• BS or BA degree
• 7+ years in a Program Management, Business Development, or Ad Technology role at a digital or mobile media company
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with internal & external audiences; polished and professional demeanor
• Proven ability to build senior-level relationships, to lead cross-functional teams and to influence decision-making
• Experience partnering on large-scale projects with Sales, Product and/or Engineering teams in a leadership capacity
• Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts a plus
• Excellent analytical skills
