SiriusXM is hiring a Director responsible for managing the relationship and existing business processes with the company’s key automotive and radio manufacturers, and retail/distribution partners. The position is responsible for managing a team that handles partner issues from identification through resolution.Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads cross functional teams between IT, Marketing, Finance, and Listener Care for development and documentation of new partner offers, marketing initiatives, or process/cost improvement efforts.
Acts as the IT Supply Chain liaison between SXM IT, the OEM business representatives, and OEM IT personnel
Able to work with and influence external partner teams to work towards goals that benefit SiriusXM as well as resolve issues without negatively impacting the overall relationship.
Ensures the radio manufacturing partner meets Sirius XM’s data exchange program requirements and any discrepancies are identified and communicated to the appropriate groups.
Ensures appropriate notification, planning and testing occurs with partners relative to Sirius XM software releases.
Lead weekly status meetings with manufacturing partners to report new issues, captures action items, and prepares and distribute meeting notes.
Responsible for creating and presenting monthly review of OEM partner data quality metrics to both internal and external teams.
Provide day to day management support of each OEM and radio manufacturer’s integration with Sirius XM’s IT systems.
Responsible for creating weekly status reports that details all OEM and Radio manufacturer issues.
Responsible for handling ad-hoc data requests from both internal and external partners.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise team of two or more Partner Operations ManagersMinimum Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in operational partner management in a manufacturing or subscription service environment.
BA/BS degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Highly analytical/process mindset; must have ability to understand the business needs and convert them to business processes and requirements and must be able to interpret IT issues to business owners in a clear and concise fashion.
At least 10 years of demonstrated cross-functional coordination experience in leading internal and external business users through complex integration processes.
At least 10 years of experience with IT and business process development, monitoring and re-engineering.Requirements and General Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead teams or work alone as required managing partner issues and/or new partner-sponsored IT initiatives
Able to work in a highly matrixed environment and work with all levels of both Sirius XM management and partner’s management
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with start-up work demands
Able to communicate to all levels of an organization (manager, VP, SVP, etc.)
At least 7 years in consumer subscription business
At least 10 years of demonstrated understanding of process and software development life cycle including phases of testing, change management, and release management.
Strong attention to detail
Strong organization skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Good project management and planning skills
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
Ability to work independently and in a team environmentTechnical Skills:
