Condé Nast & GQ are seeking a Senior Marketer to lead the launch of GQ’s creative content-to-commerce B2B platform. Be part of an innovative and rapidly growing team that is focused on growing new ecommerce products and initiatives across GQ and ultimately Conde Nast. Utilize 1st and 3rd party data from clients and our 11 million monthly users to inform ecommerce strategy, content and creative.
Be a part of the team that will extend GQ’s creative expertise and influence to drive desire with commerce focused content creation and badging that increases conversion for B2B partners.
Build a roadmap to accomplish the team’s quarterly objectives in a manner consistent with the overall mission and vision of the platform.
Establish quarterly objectives and track performance against key results that map to the platform’s overall goals.
Manage screening, hiring and professional development for all team members
Develop go-to-market strategy and materials for content-to-commerce platform
Act as ecommerce category expert and resource, including development of sales opportunities, etc.
Manage creative, development and marketing resources for all content-to-commerce platform initiatives.
Act as the department facing lead and project manage throughout the sales process
Support wider cross department initiatives, including owning brand and third party partnerships
Ongoing management and reconciliation of department budget and P&L
Evolve Brand Lab capabilities to keep pace with consumer and business trends
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience within the ecommerce/media/marketing industries
Experience launching new initiatives and managing multiple teams
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
Strong writing, creative thinking and presentation abilities
Experience executing or assisting in the execution of digital creative campaigns and ecommerce
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently and within a team setting
Knowledge of digital and mobile advertising and ecommerce capabilities and implementation, etc.
Understanding of current ecommerce platforms and digital media products
