Job Description:

This position will have the opportunity to work closely with department staff by providing administrative and event day support on signature community initiatives including programs, outreach events and fundraisers for the LA Galaxy.

Essential Duties:

Organize and prepare for LA Galaxy Camps and Clinics
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Uniform Organization
Registration/Check-in at Dignity Health Sports Park
Event Set-up and Break Down
Manage inbound tour group inquiries
Assist in coordinating logistics of all tournament needs
Assist in coordinating logistics around LA Galaxy Champion Project Soccer Days
Ability to work all Galaxy Home Matches at LA Galaxy Foundation Booth
Take and keep inventory of all soccer equipment, t-shirts, water bottles, and other giveaway items
Facilitate the mailing of donation items and correspondence with community partners
Prior work in professional sports and/or soccer experience a plus
A minimum of USSF Grassroots license

Required Qualifications:

A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
A minimum of 1 year of related work experience
Proactive and able to work well under pressure
Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills
Able to multi-task and prioritize
Computer skills with proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Team player
Flexible and able to adapt to various environments and situations
High ethical standards and strong sense of confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to stand or otherwise remain stationary for extended time periods.
Able to load/unload merchandise, typically weighing 5 to 15 lbs.
Able to work weeknights and weekends in addition to regular business hours
