Produce and arrange satellite crosstalks with guests and correspondents for TODAY, Nightly News, Meet the Press and Dateline. Includes understanding editorial direction, writing story pitches to affiliates, communicating with correspondents in bureaus, booking network facilities and executing crosstalks.
Special Projects: Work closely with affiliates and supervising producers on initiatives for all NBC News platforms.
Edit some video content and distribute to affiliates.
Support affiliates and monitor Urgent Messages during breaking news events
Support and assist team with TODAY, Nightly News, MTP and Dateline affiliate notes
Support head of department with some department duties including maintaining station DL lists, managing shared folders, and affiliate clearances, and others as assigned.
Coordinate affiliate visits to includes tours of 30 Rock and introductions to key personnel.
Must have a Bachelors degree
Must have at least 2 years editorial experience working in production at the network level, or producing video news content for TV or the web

Proficient with non-linear editing systems, preferably AVID, and familiarity with file transfer systems.
Basic understanding of social media platforms.
In depth knowledge and proficiency of MS systems and products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Windows quickly and with proficiency.
