Responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. May collect fee.
Interviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines parking staff for the efficient operation of the parking department.
Organizes and conducts meetings and communicates pertinent information to staff.
Assist in scheduling and direct staff in their work assignments.
Regularly reviews and evaluates the department and recommends and implements new operational policies and procedures when necessary.
Investigates and resolves parking complaints while interacting positively with guests.
Provides guidance and improvement and implements necessary adjustments.
Responsible for ensuring that all signage is properly placed and collected during event show days.
Manages all equipment and inventory and maintains an adequate supply of each item needed for the operation.
Regularly communicate and execute parking plan in partnership with security and hired law enforcement personnel.
Accomplish additional tasks as assigned by Operations Manager.
Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting
A high school diploma/GED preferred.
Previous supervisory experience, or as a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver is preferred.
Must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to express oneself in a professional, clear and concise fashion.
One-year previous guest service experience is preferred, with the ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service.
Must be able to present a valid drivers license record with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
