Pandora is looking for an Ad Platform Manager within the Ad Operations group. This role will focus on Ads Go-To-Market, responsible for the commercialization of Pandora’s ad products and capabilities, supporting the full suite of ad products throughout their life cycle. This is a highly cross functional independent contributor role which combines aspects of project management, product management, product marketing, marketing communications, and training.The Ad Platform Manager will be charged with driving and managing concurrent projects related the successful roll out, communication and commercialization of ad products and capabilities and when necessary, retiring products from the product suite. The Ad Platform Manager must understand the full quote to cash process related to ad products: how they are pitched, reserved, trafficked, reported, billed and finally moved through the revenue recognition process. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large scale sales operations projects for online or mobile advertising departments, and past success in being a liaison with senior cross functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Ad Technology and Ad Operations. ResponsibilitiesYou should be able to build proactive communication programs and possess an ability to distill complicated issues into meaningful, actionable components. You should have an eye for efficiency, scale and automation, and always question how we can make things better, faster, easier. You enjoy working autonomously but thrive on collaboration. You should enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Excellent relationship building skills, communication capabilities, and experience with crisis communications and project management skills are crucial. And, of course, you should love music.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead highly strategic initiatives that lead to significant impact on Pandora’s business
• Drive working groups, manage program plans, communication and related documentation
• Define program scope, objectives and delegation/execution of deliverables throughout lifecycle of program
• Drive and champion program strategy from VP level leaders of cross functional teams
• Work and communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, Design, Finance and Legal to build consensus and meet projected deadlines
• Drive, manage and communicate status on programs from conception through launch, and provide post launch analysis
• Build strategic communication framework for internal constituents; manage proactive and reactive communications to various internal departments
• Assist internal Client Services and Sales Operations teams with developing and communicating best practices around new ad products and technology platforms and related initiatives
• Partner with internal sales marketing and communication teams to develop product marketing and training materials as needed
• Build competency and thorough understanding of Pandora advertising products, systems, and internal tools

Skills And Specifications

• BA or BS degree
• 3-5 years of experience as an Ad Operations or Ad Technology leader, preferably at an online advertising platform or publisher
• Detail-oriented with a passion to provide informative and scalable solutions and documentation
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with internal and external audiences; polished and professional demeanor
• Executive presence; prepared to surface updates and/or deliver presentations to C-Level executives
• Proven ability to build VP level relationships across Pandora’s business, to lead cross functional teams and to influence decision making
• Expert level knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape
• Experience managing large scale programs with Sales, Product and/or Engineering teams in a leadership capacity
• Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency with SFDC, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SmartSheet, JIRA and other productivity tools
