The Account Manager is the first line of contact between our clients and the Wired Media Group. You will be responsible for driving advertising revenue and partnerships with key clients in your category. You will be responsible for ideating, selling, negotiating and delivering fully integrated programs that will live across print, mobile, digital and video platforms. Your role serves as the WIRED Brand Ambassador at all key industry events and trade shows within your territory.
What you will do
You will have the opportunity to identify, develop and maintain relationships with key advertising decisions makers at agency and client levels throughout your territory. You’ll identify new programs to engage existing clients as well as driving new business.
Other responsibilities include:
Develop and manage short and long term account plans for key clients
Providing accurate and timely business reporting including revenue estimates, annual projections and share of market analysis
Partner with Editorial and Product teams to deliver new advertising opportunities
3+ years of experience of consultative integrated (multi-channel) sales experience with proven ability to navigate a variety of Agencies and Clients in Chicago and throughout the Midwest
Ability to drive new business revenues
Ability to sell across Digital Media Brands
