Job Description:

Position Summary:

Oversee the log production process with the ultimate goal being maximization of commercial/ad sales revenue. Supervise day-to-day activities for the U.S. Hispanic networks with a focus on accurate commercial placement/creative assignment. Act as first point of contact for all network initiatives including program/commercial change management. Assist in implementation of new/enhanced workflow processes. Foster/maintain strong working relationships with ad sales, agency contacts, media planning, marketing and broadcast operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the log production and creative implementation process for the US Hispanic Networks, focusing on the maximization of commercial revenue
• Act as counsel to line sales in an effort to resolve issues resulting from program schedule changes. Manage/resolve exclusivity and constraint issues as a result of same. Field creative media , AEI and billboard questions and requests
• Oversee both copy and inventory change management; ensure communication/implementation with origination facility. Oversight of gatekeeper requests. Act as first point of contact for origination facility during business hours
• Work with senior management, line sales, marketing and network operations in the collaboration/execution of special advertiser enhanced interstitials and other network programming initiatives
• Sequence assigned logs and manage select list of copy accounts. Maintain the commercial instruction management system. Conduct daily review of accounts for all probationary new hires/employees
• Oversee production/creation of billboard and AEI schedules and elements
• Act as point person regarding break formats for assigned networks. Oversee avail counts, incremental and/inventory optimization initiatives. Resolve any break format discrepancies
• Conduct thorough review/sign-off of inventory and copy validation reports; ensure validity of data prior to log export
• Provide timely and accurate follow-up to management requests
• Oversee and encourage the professional growth of employees as well as educate and train new employees.
• Offer ideas for improved productivity within the department as well as offer ideas for systems enhancement.
• Act as back up to the director and both the inventory and continuity specialists.
• Assume additional duties as assigned or become evident

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3-5 years commerical operations/ad sales experience
• Knowledge of Gabriel/Deal Builder preferred
• Flexible work hours/overtime in conjunction with business needs/seasonal demands
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong quantitative analysis and creative problem solving skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• Able to multitask in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to speak/understand Spanish helpful
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
