Job Description:

NBCU’s Digital Ad Sales Technology team is responsible for the Sales and Traffic systems which support the daily business operations within NBCU’s Digital Ad Sales & Ad Operations business. The Digital Ad Sales IT team is comprised of expert digital analysts and technical resources who have years of experience in the Digital Media Industry. Our primary focus is to support the 500+ user base by ensuring daily operations run uninterrupted and as efficiently and effectively as possible. We constantly strive to innovate and discover new ways in which we can optimize business processes by discovering and implementing the right tools, systems and processes to help manage and grow NBCU’s Digital business.

The Analyst for Digital Ad Sales Technology is responsible for NBCU’s Digital Ad Sales Video systems and support, parenting closely with our Digital Ad Sales Planning, Pricing, Inventory and Ad Operations teams.

Specific Duties will include the following:

• Manage complex projects for NBCU’s Digital Ad Sales business
• System Configuration – Responsible for helping to oversee all systems administration and configurations within our digital video ad servers/systems both vendor and proprietary
• Systems Support – Manage day-to-day user requests and inquires. Demonstrate digital expertise by guiding the users on best practices and teaching them how to leverage systems functionalities in effort to introduce business efficiencies
• Oversee all Issue/Bug Management – Act as a liaison between the business and vendors to troubleshoot bugs/issues in order sustain business operations
• Vendor Management - Work directly with vendors to communicate business needs by creating detailed requirement documentation which defines our business needs/requirements which will ultimately guide vendor development
• Develop and maintain core relationships throughout the organization through constant coordination with Pricing & Planning and Ad Operations teams

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital media ad sales and operations role
• System experience in Freewheel
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY

Desired Characteristics

• Proven track record of project execution and systems implementations
• Project Management and business analyst skill sets
• Understands ad server technologies and product taxonomy
• Strong knowledge of sales planning, order fulfillment, inventory, ad operations, trafficking, order optimization, pacing and delivery reconciliation
• Experience in creative QA + campaign troubleshooting
• Technical background – experience setting up system integrations, troubleshooting ad tech issues, and system configuration
• Understands end of the month invoicing, reconciliation and billing concepts
• Experience within a media company a huge plus
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Bachelor's degree
