We are currently seeking a Cloud Engineer . This key technology position is suited to an experienced, talented and enthusiastic individual to who is looking to manage and maintain the cloud computing environment while working to enhance operational and performance efficiencies. This role will provide technical support to multiple development teams with infrastructure and work to bring technical and process innovations to the organization. The daily work will entail systems and network administration, responding to trouble tickets, eliminating bottlenecks in our environment, and some application support for products like Sharepoint and Wordpress. This role can be based in any of our locations.
Writes technical tools for systems and infrastructure automation.
Collects and reports on operational metrics for SLA reporting and capacity planning.
Works in conjunction with multiple teams to make sure that the infrastructure and the applications that depend on it work harmoniously together.
Monitors and tunes the performance of internal testing and customer infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
Manages data storage, including snapshots and archives
Expert level knowledge in Windows Server administration and Linux administration
Advanced knowledge in network administration for TCP/IP networks
Familiarity with the Zenoss monitoring software
Experience in shell-scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, etc)
Experience with Sharepoint 2010 and 2013
Experience with Wordpress and other LAMP applications
Willingness to work in a 24/7/365 environment
Passion for quality and attention to details
