We are looking for a Production Coordinator to assist our Senior Vice President of Music & Production and our Executive Director of Production at full capacity in obtaining all promotional marketing materials for FOX Entertainment award winning campaigns. In this role, you will have the opportunity to see and learn the in's and out's of how Fox Entertainment creates and distribute our content through a productions/promotions lens, and we want someone who is eager to learn and ready to join in and hit the ground running.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain and distribute all creative show elements including dailies, rough cuts, onlines, aircopies, off-air records, high res footage, audio elements, stock footage etc
Ensure that all promotional spots are legally cleared before they hit air. This includes the timely communication of legal restrictions of talent and show clearances (such as copyrighted material used within a show clip)
Acquire all printed material for each project, from the production companies, Fox Entertainment Development department and Publicity Department (this includes one sheets, press releases, talent updates and show rundowns)
Enforce Delivery Requirements for assigned Fox Entertainment shows with Production teams. During our annual pilot season, its required that we request specific technical delivery requirements from all new shows
Convey technical information to editors and writer producers for shot restrictions, general dailies information and delivery of audio files and visual effects for assigned shows; must traffic and deliver key assets such as avid bins, AAFS, and graphic elements
Contact talent and copyright holders for clips planned to be included in concept spots for promos
Process necessary licensing agreements when permission is approved and granted
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Technical knowledge in the operation of standard post-production equipment including Avid Media Composer, DnX/ProRes, Aspera, encoding, as well as familiarity with broadcast and digital standards is preferred
Ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple cross functional groups both internal and external.
Overall understanding of Legal Affairs is ideal
Exceptional time management skills to balance our hectic production schedules and deadlines
Proficiency in Office Suite, Dax, Box and Aspera Faspex.
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Have sharp eye for detail
