Job Description:

The Sr. Manager is responsible for supporting the efforts behind a nearly $2B pricing platform. This is a critical product for clients, enabling them to seamlessly and effectively manage ticket prices for their events. You, along with the Yield Management Team will be responsible for evolving, growing and managing our pricing platforms to create solutions and implement strategies that address complex business issues to achieve company and client goals.

This role will have multiple responsibilities including internal team coordination and negotiation, product team roadmap prioritization and development. The individual must be able to view the business from a number of different levels, can interact effectively with all levels of management including C-level executives within the organization, and work with stakeholders to identify and implement new opportunities to grow the business.
This position reports to the VP of Pricing & Distribution and is based out of our Hollywood Office.

What the job is:

• Develop, progress and implement vision for pricing platform and yield management initiatives
• Foster relationships across Ticketmaster to implement pricing platform and yield management initiatives through key stakeholders, including product teams, engineering teams and client teams
• Develop compelling data-driven insights and recommendations
• Evaluate growth opportunities around market potential, internal and client needs, and competitive landscape.
• Analyze product implementation to help drive further growth amongst Ticketmaster clients
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through the platforms
• Help develop models to evaluate the financial impact of alternative fee structures and other rate/fee agreements, working to ensure such arrangements meet both client and company goals.
• Create and assist in developing team and platform KPIs

What a qualified candidate should possess:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, business savvy, exercises judgment
• Proven success in establishing and fostering strong relationships both internally and with clients
• 4+ years’ work experience in one of the following disciplines (Or a combination of): pricing, program or product management, analytics, or consulting)
• Knowledge of AGILE development environment a plus
• Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discuss options and make recommendations
• Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced, small-team environment; comfortable with constantly shifting priorities
• Experience and understanding of the ticketing industry a plus
• Strong communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business-administration or related quantitative fields; MBA a plus
