The role

Ticketmaster is seeking a Product Designer with strong UI & UX design experience for responsive-web to join a dynamic creative team in Hollywood. This designer will work on our innovative Virtual Venue product for season ticket holders.

The ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years of experience in interactive and user experience design and a portfolio of work that demonstrates an understanding of information hierarchy, user journey, good usability practices along with a strong sense of aesthetics. They will have successfully launched features or products that are user-first and user-friendly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing, prototyping, and presenting responsive design solutions for mobile, tablet and desktop. Projects may include content discovery experiences, account management and consumer purchase features and products.
• Practicing insight and data-driven design and taking part in user testing to validate work.
• Working with fellow designers and product managers to incorporate functionality and services that: 1) are compatible with, and advance an established design language and methodology; 2) meets business requirements; 3) works within development timelines; and 4) delights customers.
• Presenting work in a clear and compelling manner to internal stakeholders. (Be able to explain design solutions by citing best practices, testing data, or business requirements.)
• Working in an agile environment and balancing meetings with necessary productivity time.

• 3-5 years professional experience with an emphasis on interactive product design.
• Bachelor's degree in Design preferred, or equivalent industry-related experience.
• An understanding of interaction design and usability best practices.
• Experience working with Agile software development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in modern design tools and interactive prototyping (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Adobe CC).
• E-Commerce experience is a plus.
