Job Description:

WTSP, TEGNA's CBS affiliate in Tampa Bay, is looking for an innovative and experienced Sales Operations Supervisor. This position focuses on maintaining and improving day-to-day internal processes ensuring the accuracy and delivery of exceptional service to WTSP's customers. The focus is on seamless execution of sales processes to allow Account Executives and Sales Managers to focus on pure sales. Direct reports will be Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, and Traffic.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with Account Manager team to ensure all operations needs are being met
• Pick up overflow duties from Account Managers' desks when needed and advocates on behalf of Account Managers
• Work with Account Executives to ensure smooth transition to Account Manager and the rest of the fulfillment team as applicable
• Manage Sales tools; Salesforce, etc.
• Coordinates Contesting/Promotions
• Coordinates Production for commercials advertisers
• Make sure sales operations team is working effectively to ensure campaign launch on new business or upsell opportunities
• TMS Champion, taking ownership of the relationship between station & TMS
• Works with all departments to ensure sponsorships and promotions are properly executed
• Manages activities of assigned staff and ensures compliance with departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards of performance
• Identify areas of sales operation improvement that will help efficiency and drive revenue
• Ensures support needs of Sales Leadership Team and Account Executives are met daily through effective structure of support team
• Provide training for the sales team on all systems, including Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media Sales, Nielsen, Media Monitors, AdMall, etc.
• Provides station data to Sharebuilder and management team for weekly forecasting call
• Trains and keeps Account Managers up-to-date on new software and software updates
• Help Sales Managers ensure overall quality control in the department

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:


• College degree with 3-5 years broadcast/cable/digital operations experience
• CRM experience and familiarity with Salesforce highly preferred
• Exceptional knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high pressured environment to meet strict deadlines
• Superior organizational skills – must be able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities with confidence, balance and vigor.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Wide Orbit experience highly preferred
