The FOX Network, a premier national television broadcaster, is renowned for its combination of appealing primetime entertainment and powerful sports programming. It delivers 15 hours of weekly primetime programming to 208 local market affiliates, reaching approximately 99.9% of all U.S. television households. Among 18- to 34-year-olds, the FOX Network has ranked among the top two networks in primetime entertainment for the past 23 years.


Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop and support Fox’s Enterprise System software applications by performing review, analysis and design, coding, testing and code deployment. Modify medium to large systems and components including designing, coding, testing, and debugging of those systems. Gather requirements from business and functional users to enhance and develop the application. Participate in review sessions of all analysis and design deliverables with business customers. Consult with business analysts to identify and analyze technology needs and problems. Perform impact analysis to identify any changes happening in application system and ensure that a correct code will be applied in production. Perform data flow diagramming and/or process modeling (code architecture). Write technical specifications for application components. Develop new features and functions for software applications and solutions. Perform unit testing, debugging of applications, identifying integration and user acceptance, and testing scenarios. Provide programming support through all testing phases and general releases of software. Prepare pre-release and post-release process documents including change control, contingency and fallback plan; and create production turnover and systems documentation. Provide support and monitor on call jobs and fixing the production issues. Perform reviews including code reviews, test plans, plan reviews, and deployment plan reviews.

Job Requirements

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate software development or related experience developing multi-tier applications in a business environment, including developing applications for PeopleSoft Financials or PeopleSoft HCM using PeopleTools, Peoplecode, SQL/SQR, Application Engine and Crystal/Query.
