Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Retail Planning for the Sales department. This role is responsible for retail planning, forecasting and customer analytics in support of Walmart, Inc. Requires cross functional interaction with Sales, Trade Marketing and Financial Teams. Responsible for managing the day to day retail planning responsibilities for Walmart and Walmart Canada. Includes end to end planning of the business: Manage a bottoms up forecast, develop reporting and insights, lead the modular process and all promotional opportunities. Must have strong analytical, problem-solving skills and be detail orientated.
Work with Sales and Trade Marketing to develop all promotional opportunities.
Manage all aspects of the Modular reset process.
Publish revenue and performance dashboards on a weekly basis. Provide insight into performance trends to management team. Perform market analyses to support strategic decisions.
Create and actualize revenue forecast. Build and update an annual plan with monthly updates.
Review and validate all scorecards and financial reporting prior to presentation to senior management.
Act as primary liaison between internal business units and sales teams.
Provide ad hoc reporting and analyses as needed.
3+ years work experience in the entertainment and/or consumer goods industry.
Experience with retail (Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc.).
Experience with retail and/or financial planning across large portfolio of products.
Collaboration across multiple internal and external functional groups.
Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret consumer data to identify trends.
Ability to interpret multiple data sources in order to identify needs and/or opportunities.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with internal teams including senior management.
Superior knowledge of home entertainment products and the physical/digital retail landscape.
Ability to drive collaboration across internal functional teams.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Must be able to proactively identify issues and develop solutions to address.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities.
