Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is seeking a passionate, hungry, creative individual with an interest in Classic Film to join the small-yet-mighty Social Media Team and Editorial Team. The ideal candidate can tell us the difference between Ingrid Bergman and Ingmar Bergman, speaks "social", and can trim a video clip & resize images with ease.
Editing Video & Still Imagery, writing copy, etc.
Asset Coordination: Selecting & Resizing Images
Social Media Scheduling: utilizing native platforms and/or Social Media tools to fulfill content schedules.
Social Media Campaign ideation, planning, and execution.
Reporting & Social Monitoring as needed.
Supporting positive Community Discussions.
Event support as needed.
Monitor the viewer relations board and send weekly updates of customer inquiries.
Assist in assigning writer's work.
Compile proofing marks to documents for Fest preparation.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier).
Experience editing/trimming video (ideal).
Social Media knowledge & experience.
Comfort in an entrepreneurial, creative, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Classic & Independent Film.
A general love for storytelling.

Summer 2020 program dates are June 1st through August 7th. Interns are paid a competitive-wage based on location and relocation is not provided. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation. Most positions are targeted to upperclassmen and graduate students.
