KFDA-TV News Channel 10 is the #1 rated television station and CBS affiliate in Amarillo, Texas. We serve an audience of 250,000 people across more than 30 counties in the Texas Panhandle, as well as parts of Oklahoma and New Mexico. We offer live news and other programming on three analog channels and are always expanding our digital reach with dotcom, mobile apps and social media.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Sales and Digital Sales Manager by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, performing clerical functions and handling classified and sensitive employee information. This position will be responsible for maximizing client relationships and services for KFDA digital accounts by serving as a point of contact for the client as well as ensuring digital components are met on a monthly basis.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information for digital reports.
• Weekly/Monthly revenue reports to include aging, revenue analysis, Cash in Advance and other data entry as assigned.
• Key person at the door when viewers and customers walk in – answering the telephone for News Channel 10
• Work with customers as assigned to ensure orders are in correctly and run correctly
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and interact with all personnel within the organization
• Effective time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Detail-oriented
• Successfully work in fast-paced environment
• Other duties assigned.

Requirements

• 2 Years of administrative assistant experience preferred but, not required
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Pre-employment drug test and MVR check required
