Summary & Scope: HOT97.com is looking for a highly entrepreneurial sales leader to transform HOT97.com into the highest grossing Hip-Hop sites in the US!The ideal candidate is a visionary and will build a team of energetic, passionate and motivated individuals. They love Hip-Hop culture and understand the place HOT97 occupies in the Hip-Hop landscape and are relentless to convert this space into consistent year-over-year revenue growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesincluding the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Own Brand Partnership Team sales performance and team budget achievement
• Develop and mentor direct reports
• Manage existing client relationships as well as create new revenue generating initiatives from direct relationships and agency partners
• Own and price ALL digital ad inventory on O+O sites, YouTube, PodCasts, Social, Content Marketing and audience extension including programmatic ad sales
• Create a portfolio of Podcast’s that generate new revenue streams
• Own station digital and event revenue lines for Summer Jam, Hot4 The Holidays, On Da Reggae and SOCA Tip and Circle of Sisters
• Develop new business opportunities such as strategic partnerships, content syndication and data integrations.
• Develop and conduct sales meetings and local sales training initiatives
• Enforce performance standards of Sr Vice President, Sales
• Participate in outside business and community functions; serve as representative to broader community

Qualifications:

• You have a stellar background rooted in digital sales; social/influencer, content marketing or event marketing
• Minimum of 10 years of sales/management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
• University degree/MBA required.
• Highly entrepreneurial with high work intensity
• Actively participates in the sales process
• Takes an approach to selling which emphasizes setting very high standards for achievement, and a strong results orientation.
• A strong recruiter and developer of talent.
• Able to build a winning team
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understands market trends and analyzes customer buying patterns.
• Seen as a thought-leader in the business community
• A charismatic, inspirational leader rather than a manager.
• Some travel may be required
