Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving key business objectives. This position will serve as a digital channel expert and as such you will execute and help plan digital media strategy across omni channel social platforms and brand websites.

The core function of this role is to lead the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns by analyzing data and metrics and report performance to the core team and management, providing follow-up strategies and actionable recommendations when possible.

The Digital Marketing Manager will have a strong analytical ability, be detail-oriented and extremely organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to both take direction and be a decision-maker, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and comfortable working with various leadership and external partners. The ideal candidate is and will demonstratea passion for continuous marketing testing and process improvements.

This role will report to the VP of Digital and will be integral in driving the overall performance of our digital marketing program. You will manage Fulltime editorial/social media managers and Part-time specialists.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day social and editorial priorities and expectations of the digital team
• Execute Omni channel digital sales and marketing campaigns across paid and social media digital channels and platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, and some video, etc.
• Participate in all sales close meetings. Make sure all agreed strategies and campaigns are executed and delivered.
• Track, measure, and report performance of all digital sales and marketing campaigns, assessing against set goals and objectives, and measuring ROI on a quarterly basis.
• Help devise strategies to drive online traffic to company websites.
• Understand and interpret meaningful digital marketing metrics, identify opportunities and provide strategic perspective to build both core business and new growth initiatives.
• Improving the usability, design, content, and conversion of social and website platforms.
• Evaluating user research, market conditions, and competitor data.
• Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent in marketing or related degree preferred
• 3+ years of performance marketing experience including experience managing others
• Direct experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Parse.ly, Sprout and other platforms.
• Working knowledge of paid search, display, SEO, social media is required
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Comfortable with decision making but know when to escalate decisions/issues to senior management
• Time-management and project management skills – must be able to juggle workload with a high volume of meetings and emails
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives– must be able to quickly adapt to changing projects and priorities
• Analytical skills, with the ability to build reports and summarize data in a meaningful way for the goals of the business
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities
• Team-player with excellent relationship-building – expect to liaise with multiple departments on a daily basis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment – you lead your own day-to-day and are in charge of your output and productivity
