The Essentials

The CW Network, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing for the Digital Media department. This position serves as the primary project manager and department liaison for all Branded Entertainment projects and other special projects as needed.

The Daily

• Serve as the key digital representative for all Branded Entertainment projects, providing high levels of support and communication.
• Coordinate all content schedules, planning and reporting
• Leads internal brainstorming sessions to provide best solutions for proposals.
• Maintains internal active database of creative executions and ideas.
• Works closely with digital editorial team to collaborate on ideas; presents timely creative ideas and strategies
• Creates end of campaign recap reports for internal and possibly external presentations.
• Develops working knowledge of social platform best practices.
• Provides ongoing examples of best-in-class digital marketing programs.
• Proposes solutions to improve the Full Episode Player experience, as it pertains to Branded programs.
• Creates visibility for The CW App/OTT experiences.
• Takes active role in various special projects as needed including Podcasts, CW Seed, CW Good, live events and others.
• Works cross functionally with Ad Sales, Research, On-Air Promotion, Events and Publicity to ensure that group objectives are met.
• Provides ongoing status updates to internal stakeholders, including summaries for executive review.

The Essentials

• BA/BS degree in related field preferred.
• Previous client management/agency experience preferred.
• Previous project management experience required.
• Previous video/web publishing and client account management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant terminology and procedures, including, but not limited to digital advertising (Dynamic Ad Insertion, etc.), social and web analytics tools, artwork (image formats, graphics, logos, etc.), video (digital encoding formats, generic & episodic promos, duplication, etc.), new technology (online strategies, websites, digital asset management, etc.) and programming/publicity materials (synopses, log lines, running orders, fact sheets, etc.).
• Strong understanding of television production and post-production.
• Content Management Systems, Photoshop, etc.
• Must be able to work additional hours as required.
• Strong understanding of digital entertainment landscape.
• Strong understanding of the above mentioned analytic tools/software.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, MS Office, Outlook, Google Docs, etc., Content Management Systems, Photoshop.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively & tactfully with persons on all levels, in person & on telephone.
• Must be able to work with a positive attitude in fast-paced environment where tasks, projects and deadlines can change daily.
• Must be willing to provide any level of support on other projects on an as-needed basis.
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate proactiveness on an ongoing basis
• Must be detail oriented and understand written & oral instructions.
• Must be dynamic -- able to handle multiple tasks and have ability to organize & schedule work effectively.
• Must be able to quickly learn new computer systems and tools.
• Must have ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to work additional hours as required.
