FOX34 News in Lubbock, Texas is looking for a creative, hard-working, energetic storyteller to join our team as a multi-media journalist. You will work in a collaborative environment that encourages growth and thinking outside the box. Candidate must have proven news-gathering, writing, editing and video skills. Responsibilities include reporting on news that affects our area, producing content for web and social media, collaborating with producers and managers, and growing as a journalist.
College degree in journalism or related field is preferred. Related work or internship experience is helpful.

Physical requirements include carrying news equipment up to 30 lbs., including camera, microphone, lights and tripod, to the scene of news. Will drive station vehicle to cover news locally. Work for this position will be conducted at the scene of news as well as in the newsroom. Must be able to operate several types of digital news equipment. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
