Cartoon Network is seeking a Senior UX Designer to focus on creating compelling digital experiences.
As part of the team, you will create engaging and fun digital entertainment experiences and be responsible for documenting their scope and functional flow. You have expertise in platforms and products -such as smartphones, tablets, gaming, streaming video and web-as well as a thoughtful approach to features and user-centric design philosophies.
You understand technology and are always looking for the latest and greatest trends across all the digital products. You also have a passion for the Cartoon Network aesthetic and sensibility.
Work closely with a cross-functional team (design, editorial, research, engineering, production and QA) to drive progress, uphold standards and advocate for exceptional user experiences.
Partner with product leadership to help define, execute and iterate on requirements, strategy, features and the systems needed to support them.
Provide competitive and comparative analysis to define current trends.
Seek input on your proposed solutions and be receptive to pivots as you develop new experiences.
Manage and execute documents such as site maps, user/process flows, wireframes, conceptual models, technical documents and/or whatever is needed to communicate the vision.
Take a proactive role in collaborating with development teams from early ideation and through final launched product.
Evaluate test cases for quality assurance. Help monitor data for projects once launched.

5-7+ years of designing digital products, services or games
A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking, process and execution across multiple platforms/products (ex. mobile app, web, gaming, connected TV etc.)
Deep understanding of UX design principles and methodologies. A basic knowledge of human cognitive development (such as psychology or information science)
Knowledge of modern product design best practices, such as agile development and lean UX.
Experience that shows being a strong problem-solver, storyteller and design facilitator.
Systems thinker, with the ability to connect individual features to the overall product experience.
Expertise in modern UX design tools
Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a closely related field.
Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional stakeholders and team members such as product managers, researchers, developers, writers and other designers.
Strong listening, analytical and organizational skills with the ability to lead discussions and present ideas clearly.
A passion for the entertainment, gaming, animation or digital industry
Relevant work experience in streaming media or gaming.
Subject matter expertise with Connected TV devices and/or game consoles, e.g., AppleTV, Roku, FireTV, Xbox, PlayStation.
