Brian Clapp, WorkinEntertainment.com Director of Content:  NBC has to be pretty happy Football is back – the return of the pigskin helped the peacock rule the week, taking the top 5 broadcast ratings spots in the 18-49 demographic, which included three pre-game shows, the Steelers-Patriots Thursday game and Giants-Cowboys on Sunday night.  #entertainmentbiz minute

Nina Tassler is stepping down as the Chairman of CBS entertainment in December, Tassler is credited with being a major influencer in the CSI franchise that brought CBS to the top of the network hill – her last project is the high-risk high reward Supergirl set to debut October 26th.

AMC looks like it has another hit on it’s hands, Fear the Walking Dead (AMC) took the top two sports for basic cable programming in the key 18-49 demographic, which means I was the only person in the world who hated it. Sorry Dead fans.
